What a fantastic two days we have had at the Atlantic Council, C3SA (University of Cape Town) and Cyber4Dev Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge.
Over Wednesday and Thursday this week, we have watched some of the most inspiring responses to complex cyber challenges, from student teams across Africa.
We were delighted to be joined on the judging panel by top expert Liina Lumiste, who provided a much-needed critical legal perspective to the process. Currently with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Liina has served also as a legal advisor for the Estonian government and a researcher on international law at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE).
Thank you and well done to all of the teams involved! The future of Cyber Strategy is looking good…
