Building a strong and robust National CSIRT is an essential component of a nation’s cyber security strategy and it is a task that takes considerable time and expertise to develop.
With this in mind, TNO and GFCE have published a comprehensive manual ‘Getting started with a national CSIRT’ which has been developed and co-authored by our colleague Don Stikvoort, with contributions from Klaid Mägi and Samual Higgins of the FCDO.
The guide takes the reader through the key aspects of building an effective business case, encouraging political buy in, creating an effective team and also gives insights from established teams across the globe.
