Finding, nurturing and developing emerging talent to meet the needs of the future cybersecurity workforce is a key global challenge; and one which the global cyber community recognises to be of high importance if we are build a truly resilient cyber space.
As the digital world becomes evermore complex and volatile, never before has the need to produce and retain highly skilled and versatile professionals been more important.
This urgent need was one of the key drivers in the conceptualisation of ENISA’s International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC2022) which is taking place in Athens, Greece this week ( 14th- 17th June).
Cyber4Dev is proud and excited to have supported 10 students from around the world to participate in this complex challenge.
Over the past year, together with the Steering Committee, Cyber4Dev has identified and supported students from Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, Chile, and Vietnam ready to compete against talented teams worldwide.

ICC2022 is a major ENISA event aimed at attracting young talent and raising awareness of the education and skills required in cybersecurity around the world.
In order to nurture the knowledge and skills that emerging talent in cybersecurity needs, ICC2022 aims to increase network and information security awareness in the worldwide community.
ICC2022’s ultimate goal is to help alleviate the global scarcity of IT security professionals by attracting and bringing together top cyber talent from around the world. It also promotes friendly relations between attending regions, officials and players.
We look forward to working with ENISA to bridge the cybersecurity skills gap and prepare the future workforce alongside our partners in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Southern East Asia.
