‘Building Resilience to disinformation in a Democratic Society’ was the theme of our latest successful training session with cyber colleagues in Ecuador.
Cyber4Dev experts Hannes Krause and Siim Kumpas led participants in a collaborative discussion which explored ways to prevent, recognise, mitigate and take action against disinformation in a complex and ever expanding digital environment.
We were delighted that Ambassador Mireya Muñoz, Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs (MFA) and Ambassador Pablo Ortiz, Head of Mission of Ecuador to the EU, were both able to attend the training and addressed the participants ahead of its commencement.
This was the fifth online session delivered to Ecuadorian colleagues with the support and endorsement of the MFA and the Mission of Ecuador to the EU and we look forward to further developing our burgeoning partnership.’
