On Thursday 27th October we were pleased to be in The Republic of Seychelles.
Here, our country co-ordinator Hannes Krause, accompanied by project leader Enrico Calandro had the honour of meeting the Vice President of Seychelles, Mr Ahmed Afif.
The meeting was dedicated to the start of our work in Seychelles and we had a very substantial discussion with Vice President Afif on questions relating to cybersecurity .
Our project leader emphasised how happy Cyber4Dev is to start its work with Seychelles.
“We will bring here some great expertise and have established a plan consisting of most beneficial elements for the stage where Seychelles currently is with its cybersecurity frameworks and institutions,” he said.
Vice President Afif considered working with Cyber4Dev an excellent and really timely opportunity for Seychelles given the growing speed of digitalisation in the country.
Further on from our discussions, we will devise some interesting trainings and consultations to be delivered in the second half of November.
