Our project leader Enrico Calandro and SE Asia lead Nick Small are in Lao PDR this week to review the results of Cyber4Dev‘s earlier collaborative engagement, and to discuss possible future involvement in Cyber Resilience activities.
Vice Minister Keovisouk Solaphom welcomed the Cyber4Dev team and expressed gratitude for their assistance in improving the nation’s cyber capabilities.
At the meeting, the Vice Minister also shared that Lao PDR is currently working on approving the National Digital Transformation Strategy, which includes related cybersecurity considerations.
He expressed interest in continuing cooperation with the European Union on cybersecurity resilience and cybersecurity in general, with an emphasis on discovering ways to implement the new Strategy effectively.
