It’s a great feeling when plans truly come together and our event last week in Santo Domingo was great example of this. Having witnessed the success of the Cyber 9/12 event in Cape Town last September, it’s our pleasure to support teams from Ecuador and Costa Rica at the largest and first bilateral event in the competition’s history.
Hosed at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, 12 teams from 8 different countries took part in the challenge in co-operation with the Atlantic Council, States Department of the USA and LAC4.
The two day event was the culmination of months of preparation, with Cyber4Dev organising a pre-competition seminar on digital information and society, digital and cyber risks, national security concerns, crisis management, and legal issues and diplomatic solutions in the cyber security realm.
